Mentoring Matters has established two mentoring programs. One is peer-mentoring based and the other is civic engagement focused.
Sister for Sister Mentoring
Sister for Sister is is peer-mentoring program established at Sylacauga High School. Created six years ago, it has now had over 550 women go through its curriculum. Want to establish Sister for Sister in your high school? Contact mentoringmatters@gmail.com for specific details.
Central High School
Under the Blackburn Institute Daniel Community Scholars Program, the civic engagement mentoring program is a 5-week student-led curriculum leading high school students through a series of activities to help engage and educate them on their surrounding community and civic opportuntites.
